This lovely box measures 5 inches across and 3 inches deep. constructed out of solid 1/2 & 5/8 inch Walnut and Red Oak. The lid is carved out of solid 3/4 inch Walnut and the handle is secured with a single 1/2 inch oak dowel. Hand crafted in a backyard shop with locally harvested/milled and reclaimed lumber. Constructed using joinery and dowels; lacking hinges, clasps, or any mechanical fasteners, its a very stout and durable piece. Finished with a hand waxed shellac its meant to be used and will last a lifetime.
